The initial problems relating to the outage have been fixed, and we are now investigating reports from the community of missing scrobbles from their libraries. If you're affected by this issue, please post your username (a link to your profile would be ideal), and roughly the number of scrobbles that are missing. https://getsatisfaction.com/lastfm/topics/my-library-is-gone Once again, thanks for your patience and understanding as we get these problems fixed, we apologise for any inconvenience or concern this has caused you.

We're currently looking into issues related to yesterday's outage, including disappearing recent scrobbles and changing overall scrobble counts. We're also working on restoring recommendations, similarity scores, and neighbours. Thanks for your patience as our engineers get this fixed.

We're currently experiencing a service disruption in our data centre, which is affecting the site and services. Our engineers are aware of the problem and working on a fix. No data should be lost, however you may find your library and scrobbles are not displayed correctly on the site (or intermittently). Services such as the homepage feed and radio might not work as expected either. Last.fm apologises for any inconvenience caused by this issue, we'll post updates in our forums once we have more information. On Saturday morning CBS experienced an outage across some of its networks between midnight and 5am GMT, which affected Last.fm and several other CBS managed websites.  While Last.fm wasn't down for most of the outage, the service used for managing user credentials and authentication experienced degraded performance and this would have impacted logins, password & email resets, and scrobbling via scrobble 1.2.1 protocol services (i.e. Spotify, and any scrobbler that uses your username and password to auth).

The issue was identified and resolved by CBS' engineering team -- if you are still experiencing issues logging into the site, please contact our support team. Last.fm apologises for any inconvenience caused by this issue.
